The Orchard at the End of the World
01 / The story
When the last orchard stops bearing fruit, a young mapmaker follows a fox with branches for antlers into a season that has never existed.
A world measured in seasons, not miles. We began with a simple image: a child small enough to disappear into the shadow of an impossible animal. The film follows their uneasy friendship through a landscape that is slowly forgetting how to grow.
Keep the creature ancient. Keep the child curious.
A fictional production concept. Artwork and studies illustrate the proposed world; release years are part of the demo.

Design & performance
A world with its own rules.
Keep the creature ancient. Keep the child curious. Character silhouette, spatial rhythm and color are explored together in the visual notebook, before a sequence moves into an animatic or playable test.
Technical development
Built around the image.
Painterly surface studies sit over restrained 3D forms. Light is designed in broad color shapes before detail is introduced.
Music & sound
More than what we see.
Woodwinds, bowed wood and the almost imperceptible creak of branches give the guardian a presence before it enters the frame.
