The Last Platform
01 / The story
At an abandoned station, a caretaker prepares for a train that has been one minute away for thirty years.
A short about waiting, told almost entirely through repetition. The same corridor returns with one small change. The same light moves a little farther away. Eventually the caretaker must decide whether leaving is a betrayal or a beginning.
Let the empty frame do the talking.
A fictional production concept. Artwork and studies illustrate the proposed world; release years are part of the demo.
02 / The visual notebook
Inside the world.
03 / Production notes
An intention in
every department.
Design & performance
A world with its own rules.
Let the empty frame do the talking. Character silhouette, spatial rhythm and color are explored together in the visual notebook, before a sequence moves into an animatic or playable test.
Technical development
Built around the image.
A virtual camera study explores scale, lens compression and the relationship between practical texture and composited atmosphere.
Music & sound
More than what we see.
The soundscape is built around a train we never see: pressure in the air, an electrical rise, then nothing.
04 / Moving studies
From stillness
to a sequence.
Explore the studio’s animated visual anthology: a short sequence of world, character and material studies.
