From a question to a world
There is a method
to the wonder.
A production is not a straight line. These are the places we return to along the way.

Idea
Find the question that keeps returning. A phrase, a character, an image or a musical fragment can be enough.
Output: a clear creative intention.
Writing
Test the character, the conflict and what changes. Establish a point of view before deciding how much world to build.
Output: treatment, script or narrative outline.
Visual exploration
Use thumbnails, color studies and reference to discover the rules of the world. Keep competing directions visible.
Output: an exploratory visual bible.
Storyboarding
Find staging, rhythm and the order in which information reaches the audience. Let the sequence challenge the script.
Output: a readable sequence of boards.
Design
Resolve the characters, spaces, materials and interfaces that will carry the production. Design a family of choices.
Output: production-ready design direction.
Prototype / animatic
Test the emotional and functional idea before committing to detail. Watch the cut; play the interaction.
Output: a working proof of the experience.
Production
Build, animate, light, engineer and composite in reviewable increments. Keep the original intention visible at every handoff.
Output: sequences and systems approaching final quality.
Music & sound
Develop the musical identity, voices and acoustic world. Audio begins early and matures alongside picture and play.
Output: score, soundscape and integrated mix.
Final image
Refine timing, readability, color and continuity. Check the work in the conditions in which people will experience it.
Output: a coherent final master or build.
Release
Prepare delivery, publishing materials and distribution assets. Archive the work so it remains understandable to the next person.
Output: the production, ready to meet its audience.
